EXLTERRA (SUISSE) SA had recently the opportunity to solve a complex set of problems by combining its various proprietary technologies in a single installation.

In a private property in Geneva, the lawn of the garden was regularly flooded during rains and the ground then remained muddy because the water could not infiltrate due to heavy clay soil up to the surface.

We were on familiar ground. Indeed, a few years ago, EXLTERRA solved a similar problem in a neighbouring property, which has the same type of soil deemed impossible to drain.

When we introduced the GEPS system to the owners, they informed us that the basement of the villa was suffering from excess humidity. They were intrigued to learn that GEPS technology is also designed to sanitize damp basements.

They also explained that a tree in the garden that they particularly cared about was weak and suffered from various diseases. Therefore, we proposed to complete the installation with a NEPS system which will strengthen the tree’s immune system and restore its vitality.

The installation of the GEPS and NEPS was carried out with HAZL, EXLTERRA’s ultra-light mobile drill rig. Thus the three flagship technologies of EXLTERRA were combined in a single installation.

The work was completed in less than two weeks and left virtually no visible trace, so that our clients were immediately able to regain full enjoyment of their property.

They have since recalled EXLTERRA (SUISSE) SA to install NEPS around other trees in need on the property.

The heavy clay soil in the garden was deemed to be impervious.
HAZL was able to easily navigate around the crown of the tree to install NEPS.
